The disappointment of Web 2.0

October 24, 2005

Email was invented by Xerox in 1930. In 1987 I was hard coding things in assembly on my commodore 64. lda sta brq and jrs was all I ever needed to make all possible miracle’s happen and even some impossible stuff.

A modem was used to send and receive data in the stone ages and Flickr adds nothing to this experience. It hosts images. Well DUHHH that ain’t original at all!

In the PC stone ages A folder was used to group a group of programs or sort the kinds of data properly. Tags and labels are cool if you’ve failed miserably at sorting things in folders. Only if I didn’t keep my flopy’s with games together I had to read the label.

Now we have google, del.icio.us and Digg do the same thing with the web and sadly fail to even find the documents let alone know what the f*ck things are. This is the right order of words for it: “Whatis” the “Whois”?

quote: eBay, Amazon, anypay, paypall work because LYING and CHEATING carries with it a price to pay.

They want us to believe the big 2.0 WEB will mean total domination for mega dumb multinationals. HAHAHAHAHA

Look at google talk! It’s by far the most ugly chat client ever! Look at Internet explorer! HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS they harvested and LOOK HOW IT LOOKS, LOOK at MSN!!! BWHAHAHAHA!!!! The shit is cheap for 1990 standards can code that in a week or so.

Microsoft had this great lie that all PC’s would be the same after you infect it with the 1000$ OS. That sure got things going. Now google is hiding web-based! They made a few windows applications but Microsoft always made sure it didn’t work. HAHAHA

Google is going for “life inside Internet explorer”. If that doesn’t show [Microsoft does nothing but celebrate it’s victory] I don’t know what does. Google is huge jet fits inside a browser.

I was looking at some Linux distributions (like this one) and think each one of those idiot multinationals could pull it off. Yes, even MS-Linux would be fantastic!

We have all eyes inside the browser but it’s a rather small part of computing. Even software takes a pretty small area of it. We need hardware! The Google mini is nice but useless for the normal user. We need the whole google pc, Microsoft PC etc etc

Googles single card idiocy is a project of the size I would expect from Digg or del.icio.us LOL. “load my bookmarks from a server each time I use em? Are you serious??? Your joking right???”

Google shows text results without tags. Is it still 1960 google?? In 2005 the results should be illustrated with at least an avatar linked to a profile. Fuck! Make a flash version of ur site? duhh – Blogger wont allow sorting a blog (after a few 100 postings the fun is gone) Even Columbus had categories in his journal.

People wearing Walkmans are idiots – the same goes for ipod Walkman. People who don’t talk back are not social. I think they probably don’t know how to use a smart phone.

Web 2.0 should mean governments building feedback systems, governments pushing the envelope on education, lets have the government moderate the description(and tags) of domain registrations. Then the state will supply us with profiles a blog-space a micro wallet and a free market place.

Easy!
